I would make a smallwood fire and put it on if you really want to burn it. Why not just throw it in the bin?

Why don’t you take the jacket with you for a night on the town… dinner, then hit the pubs… hoist many a toast to this fine friend.
THEN… head for a 55 gallon drum somewhere, try a back alley or two, and start a small fire with newspaper. Now… pull out a small bottle of 151 proof rum! A final toast to your old jacket… one for him, and one for you… continue until the jacket is well soaked.
Now… with a final goodbye.. toss your pal into his funeral pyre and call it a night!

there are people out there who need these things,burning it would be wasteful and most likely harmful to the environment.
